Inspired by our phenomenal 'The Time Is Always Now' exhibition, come and celebrate the special people in your life and get creative through portraiture. Join us for a range of brilliant free arts and crafts sessions this summer, plus special family walking tours with our team! See full details of our programme below.

Sessions are particularly ideal for children aged 4 to 11 years old and their adults. Last entries at 12.15pm and 3.15pm. If it's busy why not try one of our family trails or an activity on the 'Explore More' tables next to our shop?
Week One (Tue 23 - Thu 25 Jul): Nurtured in Nature
We're creating a collaborative artwork with people in a garden. Come and draw your favourite people and we'll create a big community of people who we love! Visit it over future weeks to see how the community has grown.

Week Two (Tue 30 Jul - Thu 1 Aug): Joyful Relationships
This week we're creating prints that celebrate the things we love about our friends and favourite people.

Week Three (Tue 6 - Thu 8 Aug): Playfully Creative
We'll be drawing silhouettes and filling them with fun things that children love doing. Celebrate being in the moment!

Week Four (Tue 13 - Thu 15 Aug): My Perfect Summer's Day
Sunglasses often reflect what makes us happy, like friends, favourite places or animals. We'll be creating our own art that reflects what makes us happy.

Be proud of who you are and create your own face or body from air dry clay tiles.

Come and make a frame for pictures that have been created throughout the summer, or your photos at home. Choose how to decorate the frame that explains more about the person within them.
